BSC International Safety Award 2006 – For the second year running, the Company has been recognised by the British Safety Council for its on-going commitment to best practice in Occupational Health & Safety

RoSPA Silver Award 2006 – The Company obtained it’s first RoSPA national safety award in 2006 in recognition of our achievements in the development and implementation of a detailed Occupational Health & Safety management system

BSC International Safety Award 2005 – Similarly, the Company was also recognised by the British Safety Council as providing an excellent standard of Health & Safety, accident prevention and on-going Welfare initiatives

NIC-EIC – The Company’s Electrical Alliance Partners and Sub-Contractors are all accredited members of the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting

NEBOSH – NEBOSH – David Jameson (AIMBM), the Company’s Supply Chain & Partnering Manager, obtained the NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health in August 2007

IIRSM – IIRSM – David Jameson (AIIRSM) is also an Associate Member of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management

IMBM – David Jameson (AIMBM), the Company’s Supply Chain & Partnering Manager, is an Associate Member of the Institute of Maintenance & Building Management, whilst the Company continues to encourage/sponsor other officers to apply for membership

RoSPA – The Company is a subscribing member of the
Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (registration number: M40701123)

British Safety Council – Further, the Company is also a subscribing member of the British Safety Council and is committed to continuing to further train its staff and sub-contractors. KNK also operates an accredited assessment on centre on behalf of the BSC for Level 1 Health and Safety examinations

Considerate Constructors Scheme – The Company is registered with the Considerate Constructors Scheme

Carbon Neutral – KNK has offset its carbon emissions by subscribing to become a ‘carbon neutral’ company – in the year 2006/7 this has meant that we have ‘purchased’ 188 tonnes of carbon via an investment in a New Zealand wind farm

IIRSM – David Jameson is an Affiliate Member of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management and is currently undertaking NEBOSH qualification

British Standards Institute – The Company’s Integrated Management System is audited on a regular and continuing basis my BSi Management Systems who are widely regarded as the world leaders in accreditation compliance

DEM Electrical Services Ltd – DEM are KNK’s lead electrical alliance partner and carry out 85% of all such works issued to the company. They have worked with the firm for the past 10 years

Bellegrove Insurance – Bellegrove in conjunction with Zurich, Cornhill and Quinn Insurance provide KNK with a complete suite of insurance products from Public & Employer Liability through Fleet Cover and Building/Contents insurance for our Office facilities

LloydsTSB Bank plc (Corporate) – The Company’s Banking arrangements are provided by LloydsTSB – these include online banking, performance bonds and pensions

Croydon Contract Leasing – CCL procure the Company’s fleet of cars and vans and their range of bespoke solutions enable us to reduce lead-in times to an absolute minimum

Criminal Records Bureau – The Company ensures that all staff, employees and sub-contractors are ‘vetted’ by the CRB within 3 months of the commencement of their employment

Sterling Syncordia – Sterling are our communications provider for land lines, ISDN connections and mobile services

Syntegro Business Solutions – Peter Fasulo, Syntegro’s senior partner acts as the Company’s Integrated Services Manager and has been instrumental in the design and implementation of the Company’s Integrated Management System

Croydon PCT – Croydon NHS PCT in association with Mayday Hospital Trust (and BUPA) provide KNK with a range of Occupational Health services including assessment, surveillance and inoculations

SAFED – In conjunction with the Department of Transport, the Company ensures that all of our drivers are put through the SAFED driver assessment test
